Leta Hollingworth (1886 – 1939)

She graduated from Valentine High cshool at the age of 16 in 1902 and entered the University of Nebraska. She received a Masters of Education from Columbia University. She is known for first beginning the research into gifted children. She was also one of the first individuals to research and conclude that women were not biologically inferior to men.
