Murray Gell-Mann (1929 – )

He graduated from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School as valedictorian at the age of 15. He earned a B.S. from Yale at the age of 19 in 1948 and a Ph.D. from MIT at the age of 21 in 1951. He received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1969 for his work on the theory of elementary particles.
